Named for the woman who saved the recipe while fleeing Spain to Jamaica, this recipe was re-discovered in the 1940s and produced as Tia Maria. It is filled with complex aromas and distinct flavours of roasted coffee beans and vanilla, the addition of Jamaican rum adds depth, body and structure to a lengthy finish.

Serving Suggestion

This delicious coffee flavoured liqueur can be used to mix up a variety of flavourful cocktails. Try a Tia Mint Frappe:
1oz. Tia Maria
2oz. Espresso
6 fresh mint leaves
2oz. fresh milk
Drop mint leaves into a shaker add all other ingredients. Shake, pour over ice. Stir and serve garnished with a fresh sprig of mint.
