Description

Deanston Distillery was founded in 1966 inside the walls of a 200-year-old cotton mill. The Virgin Oak single malt is an award-winning whisky that epitomizes Deanston's unique character. This Highland whisky shows notes of honey and candied orange, followed by impressions of vanilla ice cream, caramel and spice.

Tasting Notes

Aged in ex-bourbon casks and finished in new oak for a zesty character and complexity. Pale gold in colour; aromas of sweet barley, caramel and citrus; the palate is dry with citrus peel, lemon, crisp apple and vanilla spice followed by a lengthy finish that explodes with honey and sweet honey.

Serving Suggestion

Wonderful with shortbread or lemon desserts.
